Kishen Das

Kishen Das is an Indian film actor who mainly works in the Tamil film industry. He is renowned for his first acting role in the 2022 film “Mudhal Nee Mudivum Nee,” for which he won the Vikatan Award for best debut actor.

Personal Life

On April 25, 1993, Kishen was born in Kozhikode, Kerala, India. He attended Chettinad Vidyashram for both his primary and secondary schooling before graduating from Loyola College in Chennai with a bachelor’s degree in visual communication.

Career

After finishing his education, he joined “Fully Filmy” in 2017 as a video production trainee. Later, he worked there as a social video production executive. He made his debut on-screen appearance in the 2019 film Nerkonda Paarvai as Andrea’s friend. He quit his job in 2020 and began working as a freelance marketer and content creator. A year later, he worked as a Senior Social Media Specialist & Digital Marketing Manager for the “Social Beat” business.

After three years, in 2022, Kishen began his acting career in the Tamil film industry as a romantic star with the film “Mudhal Nee Mudivum Nee,” which aired on ZEE5. He gained a lot of recognition for his remarkable debut performance after this movie. He received appreciation and affection from the critics and audience, and he also won the Best Debut Actor Award at Vikatan 2023. Additionally, he established a podcast on Spotify called “Timepass with Das.”
