Police Media spokesman Nihal Thalduwa said that the Inspector General of Police has interdicted Senior Superintendent of Police of Moneragala SSP Sisira Kumara with effect from 10th January 2023.
The SSP was arrested by the Police Special Task Force (STF) after a large quantity of Cannabis plants and a metal detector were found at his official residence on 9th January.
