Trumps Nuclear threat

Allegations of an imminent nuclear threat against Iran attributed to former President Donald Trump circulated online, claiming a deadline of 8:00 p.m. for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz or face catastrophic retaliation. Iranian officials reportedly refused the demand. These claims have been independently verified, but his previous threats of a similar nature have not been materialised. Fire and fury to North Korea fizzled out with claiming love affaire with Kim Un Jung.

The reports have also spurred calls from some members of the American public to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from office on mental-capacity grounds; however, there is no indication that congressional leaders are preparing such action. Questions remain about whether Republican lawmakers in the House and Senate would pursue measures against him, and observers note concerns about political and personal risks perceived by some legislators.

Trump issued a number of threats to Iran during this dispute but none followed up giving various excuses.
