A 31 year old woman ascending Adam’s Peak has given birth to a baby girl at Nallathanniya. The birth is said to have taken place at around 8PM on Saturday (11) after which officers attached to the Nallathanniya police post had taken steps to admit the mother and baby to the District Base Hospital Dickoya.
Hospital sources said that the mother and baby are in good health.
