The army on Tuesday (28) removed a camp located on a land belonging to Road Development Authority (RDA) at Manawalan on the Mankulam road in Mullaitivu. This camp was established 13 years ago.
There were several permanent and temporary buildings on the land.
In addition to removing the buildings, the army also cleared the area of mines that had been previously laid for its security.
