Police have so far received 12 complaints against the head of Thico Group of Companies Thilini Priyamali for allegedly defrauding over Rs. 1.28 billion. Police say investigations are continuing. Priyamali, a mother of two and her business partner Isuru Bandara have been remanded by the Fort Magistrate pending further investigations. They were remanded till Nov 02.
