Former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and his wife Ioma left for China yesterday morning from the Bandaranaike International Airport.They flew to Kuala Lumpur, on Malaysia Airlines flight MH-178 . They will travel to China from there.
Airport sources said the Rajapaksas had used the airport air cargo terminal to leave instead of the VIP lounge, the Silk Route or Gold Route facilities or through the normal air passenger terminal.
