Krishna Priya Mohan (also known as Priya Atlee) is an Indian actress, businesswoman, and production company owner (A for Apple) who mostly works in the Tamil film and television industries. She gained notoriety for her outstanding performances in numerous films, including Singam, Naan Mahan Alla, and many more.

Personal Life

Krishna Priya Mohan was born in Chennai on April 26, 1990. Her mother is Durga Devi, and she frequently shares pictures of the two on Instagram. Her only sibling’s name was Satish. She received her graduation from Chennai’s MOP Vaishnav Women’s College. For eight years, she dated director Atlee. Then, on November 9, 2014, they married. Their wedding photos quickly went viral on social media.

Career

Priya Atlee has made numerous film appearances in Malyalam and Tamil. She earned her acting breakthrough in the 2009 Malayalam film Red Chillies, directed by Shaji Kailas. She performs with Biju Mohan and Mohanlal. The school drama Kana Kaanum Kaalangal on Vijay Television then made her an offer. She participated in that and highlighted her acting abilities by playing the student role.

She earned widespread acclaim for her portrayal in that serial; later, the two directors, Suseendhiran and Hari, sensed something exceptional and offered her a role in their upcoming movie. She agreed to the offer and signed on to star in the 2010 films Naan Mahan Alla and Singam. Singam, however, was her official debut Tamil film because it came out before Naan Mahan Alla. She performs well and makes effective use of her screen time as Kathik’s sister in Naan Mahan Alla and Anushka’s sister in Singam. For the film Ottayaal Paatha, Priya once again received an offer from the Malayalam industry.

Production House

She insisted that Atlee launch the production company. They then made up their minds and gave the production house the name “A FOR APPLE.” She was a co-founder of that enterprise. In April 2020, they made their production label debut with the release of the Sangili Bungili Kadhava Thorae film, and she later added the Andhaghaaram film to their slate of productions.
