A second Sri Lankan afflicted with monkeypox had been detected, a senior Health Ministry official told the media yesterday. He was admitted to IDH.
The patient has recently returned from Dubai and the Ministry was tracing his close associates, the official said.
Sri Lanka detected its first monkeypox case earlier this month and he too returned from Dubai.
