Kachchativu feast restricted to 8,000 devotees this year

The number of devotees allowed to attend the annual feast at St. Anthony’s Church, Kachchativu this year will be limited to 8,000 as the church is running short of funds.The trustees of the church said that they could provide only one meal a day.

The annual feast will be held from 02 to 04 March.Out of the 8,000 devotees allowed this year 4,500 will be Indian.

In the past, between 75,000 and 100,000 devotees attended the Kachchativu feast.
