Notre Dame Cathedral on Fire

The cathedral was built on a small island called the Île de la Cité, in the middle of the Seine. Construction began in 1163, during the reign of King Louis VII, and was completed in 1345. It is considered a jewel of medieval Gothic architecture.

This middle age marvel  in Paris, Notre Dame has caught  fire causing the loss estimated to be  billions of  Euros  in artefacts of unique historical value. This middle age architectural wonder was undergoing some renovations and routine maintenace work when ithe fire engulfed, the couse of it not known however the foul play has not been ruled out. As i write this report the 395 feet Spire of Notre Dame Collapses  as raging fire engulfs the Historic Cathedral
