The All Sri Lanka Uva Provincial Open Badminton Championship organised by the Uva Province Badminton Association under the auspices of the Sri Lanka Badminton will commence at the St. Thomas’ Indoor Sports Complex Bandarawela today.
The championship will see events being conducted under a number of age groups and categories, namely, Under 13, Under 15, Under 17 and Under 19 boys’ singles, doubles, girls’ singles, doubles and mixed doubles in the junior categories and senior categories from Over 30 to Over 70.
All these events will contribute towards national rankings and all winners, runners-up and semi-finalists of the championship will be awarded prize money, certificates, trophies and medals.
