Leading Infantryman KMGU Laksiri and Woman Able Physical Training Instructor, EMAGLB Edirisinghe from the Southern Naval Command won the men’s and women’s categories at the Sri Lanka Navy Inter-command Triathlon Championship held at the Naval Dockyard and Sandy Bay beach recently. .
Sixty Eight (68) athletes from all Naval Commands participated in the competition which tested the skill and endurance in three continuous and sequential disciplines: swimming (750m), cycling (20km) and running (5km).
