President Ranil Wickremesinghe in his capacity as the Minister of Finance is scheduled to present Budget 2024 in Parliament today at 12 noon.
A seven-day debate on the Second Reading of the Budget will be held thereafter.
The committee stage or the debate on the Third Reading of Budget 2024 is scheduled to be held for 19 days, and the final vote on the Third Reading of the 2024 Budget will be taken on 13 Dec at 6 pm.
